Another Air Jordan 12 is making its way back. The popular Nike Air Jordan 12 Flu Game is coming back on May 28. It was first seen back in 1997 where Michael Jordan wore them in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against Utah Jazz. Michael Jordan and the Air Jordan 12 scored 38 points and secured the Chicago Bulls the victory. It was rumored that Michael Jordan was having “flu-like-symptons” while playing the final, this story stuck to the shoes giving them the famous “Flu Game” name.
The Nike Air Jordan 12 Flu Game was originally released by Nike in 1997. It late got a retro re-release in 2003 and 2009. The 2009 model was made with a nubuck upper and therefore did not meet the ‘OG’ standards. Most likely the 2016 release will be in leather and will be the release closest to the original from 1997, which will make this retro sell out really fast, so be be quick.
